We will describe the newest trends, analyze data, show the impact mlearning can have and work through what the best practices for implementing mLearning into an educational environment would be.

There is a new phenomenon that is changing the way students connect and learn today. That phenomenon is called mLearning (or Mobile Learning). Mobile learning transforms traditional online learning in such a way by allowing students and instructors to connect with each other without being tied down to a traditional desktop computer. With mLearning, students are connecting through use of; cell phones, PDA's, portable game devices, tablets, laptops and MP3 players. They use these devices as a way to learn outside the confines of a typical classroom environment.

What we want to know is, how much is mLearning changing the way students experience education? If technology  can connect students at any time of the day does it improve the overall educational experience? Is this phenomenon here to stay and how do schools adapt and embrace this new technology? In this presentation we will explore and answer all these questions.
